In the early 1960's, Part Two

We actually lived in a log house.  My parents had a Seabreeze, or Seeburg HIFI console.  Yes, HIFI and MONO, too.  We hadn't quite made the shift over to "stereophonic" sound reproduction in our household .  Here's an old photo I found of myself, and that's the old console HIFI in the right hand side of the shot.  I remember music playing almost all of the time when I was growing up.

The console had two speakers in it, a lid that opened, and I think there was also an AM radio in the unit.  The record player was a BSR UA14 model.  I can remember Mom loading stacks of albums, like *Jim Reeves, Floyd Cramer's "On the Rebound" album, Al Hirt's "Honey in the Horn" LP, Johnny Cash, or different Bert Kaempfert albums.  I'm sure there were many more, but those ones do stick in my mind.  The Johnny Cash clips displayed below are from rare old video but I remember listening to these songs in their original versions.
