That's my Mom giving our dog Lady a bath.
This is me on my fourth birthday.
I know it really has nothing to do with audio tech, I do remember this important part of American and world history. It's been said that everyone that was alive at the time can recall what they were doing when they heard the news that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Although I don't recall what I was doing, but I remember my mother crying about it and I remember watching the funeral on television. The image of his coffin draped in the American flag being transported on the gun carraige is one of my earliest memories. I wasn't even 4 years old at the time. When I put things chronologically in perspective, I'm quite sure we had an old Westinghouse Black and White tube television. The cabinet for the unit was covered with some reddish-brown vinyl. It wasn't a floor model. It had to be on a tabletop or cupboard. It had a set of "rabbit ears" and some sort of home-made modified antenna my Dad had put together. There weren't many TV stations to be received back then.
